STRAT7 is a global marketing and customer analytics consultancy, specialising in customer-centric business growth and transformation. STRAT7 is a customer insight and analytics group, formed by investments in specialist software and data analytics businesses ResearchBods and Bonamy Finch.
Horizon Capital invested in the business alongside its founders in April 2019. Together with the STRAT7 team, Horizon Capital developed a strategy to build a scaled customer analytics group, underpinned by proprietary software IP and leading data analytics capabilities, serving enterprise clients across a number of key verticals.
Horizon Capital LLP invests between £10m and £75m in fast-growing, UK-headquartered companies, focusing on B2B services and technology to deliver growth.
Strat7 were in exclusive talks to acquire a MarTech business headquartered in Europe with operations across Europe and the US.
We provided the CFO with deal support by taking ownership of the Dataroom, tracking and reporting on the due diligence work streams and supporting the CEO and CFO with the compilation of Investment Committee papers provided to Horizon. This involved working with the Sell side advisors (Results International), Lawyers (Pinsent Mason), FDD advisors (RSM), and Tax accountants (Deloitte) to project manage the due diligence processes on behalf of Strat7.
We also provided financial modelling services in order to create a new suite of standardised management reporting packs for the companies which form part of the Strat7 group.
