Superbike was founded in 2010 as a digital-first business which combines retail and sourcing online with a physical showroom operation in Macclesfield, Cheshire. It has grown to become the UK’s largest independent supplier of used motorcycles. Superbike offers an extensive range of financing offers for its customers through its Superbikeloans.co.uk business, the UK’s leading finance broker in the motorcycle market.

Livingbridge invested in Superbike Factory in 2017, with the aim to support the company’s plans to accelerate growth through the opening of a new site in the South of England, increased marketing initiatives, and providing new added-value services for its loyal customers.
Provided support to the CFO and a senior advisor to the business. Superbike had required a financial model to support them on the implementation of a new organic growth project, by forecasting the potential financial performance and returns from a new product offering.
Per the project timelines, Superbike required a financial model to be built, with the key assumptions tested, ahead of a scheduled Board meeting in order to review the project proposal and to seek approval.
Superbike required a complex 3 statement integrated financial model to forecast and sensitise the potential financial performance and returns. The model had to be built to accurately reflect various components including detailed loan calculations, and therefore was both technical, commercial but also had to be user friendly.

The findings of the model were presented to the Board and Livingbridge, and used to get approval to progress with the project. Project has been approved.
