Inflexion made a minority investment of £150m into Radius Payment Solutions in 2017.
Radius has achieved rapid growth via a successful buy and build strategy which has seen the business diversify over recent years into Telecoms, Telematics and Insurance, with 7 acquisitions completed in 2019. ARA Advisory partnered with management in support of a number of integrations in early 2020.
ARA Advisory provided financial modelling services to support the Group Director of Finance, Business Unit Finance Director and Group Head of M&A on the onboarding of new acquisitions. Radius acquired several businesses and required purchase price accounting workbooks in order to integrate these acquisitions into the group. The acquisitions ranged from Telecoms, Insurance, and Telematics businesses.
A brand new, professional, and streamlined purchase price accounting model and workbook, which was rolled out across all new acquisitions. The model consists of:
Successfully built integrated models for several deals providing end to end purchase price accounting workbooks. Management provided the models to the auditors EY who performed a review of the purchase accounting methodology.
